Explore the key principles of trauma-informed practice when working with children and young people
Delivered by Kazzum Arts' Artistic Director, Alex Evans, this 2-hour trauma awareness training will introduce you to the key principles of trauma-informed practice and Kazzum's unique approach when working with children and young people impacted by trauma.
The training will support organisations to develop an awareness and understanding of the impact of trauma and begin to develop knowledge, insight, and relational capacities when working with participants.
This workshop will be led by Kazzum Arts
Kazzum Arts provides creative opportunities for children and young people aged 5 to 25 who have been impacted by trauma to feel seen, heard, and valued.

Our programmes use creative activities as a means of building confidence, communication skills, creativity and engagement in learning, whilst also helping children and young people to develop healthy relationships with others and the world around them.
This workshop is part of A New Direction's Cultural Sector Masterclass series for creative learning professionals to reflect upon and strengthen your practice
