The Shiny Awards showcase the best new & minority directors, and connect them to reps, commissioners and producers working in commercial production worldwide.
Our shortlist screenings always show at least 70% work from minority directors.
Hundreds of directors who enter Shiny go onto sign to production companies and win at major festivals.
We are a much-loved source of talent discovery for the music video & commercial production sectors.
We're now open for entries to the Winter Shiny Awards.
Entry deadline is Friday 25th November and the entry fee is £25
Shortlisted directors get 2 free tickets to the Awards, which are at Framestore London.
The screening is followed by networking with industry people over pizza and drinks.

There are only two eligibility criteria:
1/ the video must be under 5 mins runtime
2/ the director must have only worked with production budgets under £50k, excluding feature films
