- Take part in design thinking excerises exploring black history and culture.
-Explore what happens when black culture meets digital.
- Share best practices on how to engage with people in digital and tech environments

About this Event:

To celebrate Black History Month, the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Profession at DfT are collaborating with Women Like Me to host a roundtable discussion.

You will get practical hints and tips on how you can build and maintain digital, diverse and inclusive teams.
This event is a great opportunity to start a dialogue and think about ways we can improve the outcomes for ethnic minorities in digital government.

Women Like Me is a collective of inspiring BAME women working in STEAM who share insights, vision, knowledge and stories in art, politics, business and technology. We use human centred design processes and methodologies to discuss and solve gender and racial inequality in our community. We create safe spaces in and outside the work place for open and honest conversations to take place.
