Continuing with our series Against Boredom, join artist Alejandra Carles-Tolra on our second two-day workshop, On Rituals and Rules, where we reflect on everyday rituals and the role rules can play on igniting our creativity

Conceived as a response to the time we are currently in, this workshop invites participants to engage with familiar spaces in different ways. Split across two Saturdays, we will use photography to explore domestic habits, rituals and games to create new work. In between sessions participants will be invited to engage in outdoors walks.

This workshop is the second one in a series of events with artist Alejandra Carles-Tolra and will draw inspiration from artists like Carrie Mae Weems, Sophie Calle and writers like Rebeca Solnit. Each session will include creative exercises, themed group discussions, and opportunities to share work and experiment with collaborative practices.
