To gain first-hand experience of working in a PR agency; to be assigned to a client-facing team and to provide a supporting role within that team.

· To join regular team catch up meetings to understand key roles and responsibilities for the week ahead
· To gain insight into media (print, broadcast, online), read publications and build lists as needed
· To undertake research as needed
· To identify and visit events and places of interest and relevance to the agency and update all staff – exhibitions, installations, pop-up shops etc
· To attend client events and press launches where appropriate. Occasionally to be given a specific role, such as meeting and welcoming guests
· To read relevant news items to share with the agency and across social media
· To read industry relevant magazines – trade and consumer – and share findings and insights with the agency

· To assist team members in key day-to-day responsibilities such as:
o Support on key events with invitation lists, media lists, organization and RSVP lists
o Preparation of press materials ahead of a press briefing
o Preparation of press cuttings for presentation to client
o Preparation of client reports
