Responsibilities:
Setting up the way content delivery works for Samsung Members UK and IE. Day to day monitoring and delivery of assets to deliver best in class communications. Build relationships with client and the stakeholders, bringing new briefs, and track the cycle of the projects. The role requires travelling to Chertsey minimum once a week.
What the day to day looks like:
  • Acquire and manage asset requirements
  • Keep up-to-date content plan
  • Maintain asset plan / calendar
  • Monitor publication data insights and make sure content quality are up to date with no broken UX, UI elements.
  • Remove out-of-date content.
  • Manage HQ content localisation.
  • Acquire and manage asset requirements as per briefs.
  • Providing project plans to clients.
  • Provide best in class Members content ideas.
  • Collaborate/coordinate with European team.
  • Issues management.

Ideal experience required:
  • Knowledge of Adobe framework and CMS platforms is ideal.
  • Experience in digital agency.
  • Some expertise handling Apps and loyalty programs is ideal.
  • Client facing skills + build good relationships with client is key.
Additional information - Detail daily tasks as a content manager:
For the most part, agency provides all the content that needs to be uploaded on the app – both
for articles and promotions. However, promotions are also handled directly by the Samsung UK
team – both in terms of the request, and of the delivery of necessary assets.
ARTICLES (content published under News & Tips tab) The process goes as follows:
  • Agency provides all assets (HTML file & visuals), as well as other important details: heading & subheading for the Homepage and News & Tips listing of the article; target audience; availability period.
  •  Perform light HTML editing, as to make the HTML file suitable for publishing in the
CMS
  • Check that the copy of the article has no mistakes
  • Check the URLs (if the case)
  • Upload the assets in the CMS, observing all the details mentioned above;
  • Test that the content has been uploaded properly, that the URLs work, etc. in the Test
Mode of the app
  • Send screenshots to the agency team for final approval
  • Once approved, the content is scheduled to go live / goes live immediately.
PROMOTIONS (content – banners – published under Benefits tab)
Keep in touch with both the Iris team and Samsung UK team. 
The process goes as follows:
  • Receive the request and details of publishing (target audience, availability period, URLs etc.) Directly from the Samsung UK team (Agency team CC’ed)
  • To Receive the promotion assets (visuals) to be uploaded in the app CMS
  • To Upload them, in accordance with the client’s request, in the app CMS
  • Test the promotion on the test device, to ensure that the visuals and URL (if the case)
work properly
  • Send the client (Iris team CC’ed) screenshots from the Test Mode
  • Once approved, the promotion is scheduled to go live / goes live immediately.
Other activities
  • Keep track and update the local Samsung UK content calendar
  • Keep track and update the global calendar
  • Collaborate/coordinate with European team
  • Providing project plans to clients
