Proud Robinson + Partners is looking for an experienced, Amsterdam based Account Director to join the family.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a strong and supportive team. Not only are we looking for someone with sound TTL marketing knowledge (and a hunger to continue learning), they should also be comfortable with client handling and building relationships with both clients, agency partners alike. We’re looking for a true all-rounder.

This role will be based at our newly opened Amsterdam office and will form part of a small initial team, working remotely with the London office to service our European client base (alcohol, tech & automotive).

The Basics
  • Full time Account Director position.
  • Responsible for core client servicing, account management and the planning and delivery of integrated TTL creative communication campaigns & activations.
  • Reporting into the Partners.

The Specifics
  • A strategic thinker, creative mind and tenacious project manager, working across multiple accounts and projects.
  • Key client servicing responsibilities and cross functional strategic & creative development, ideation, campaign delivery and client & agency coordination.
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently, forging good working relationships with a remote team in the UK.
  • Managing the development of strategic & creative responses to briefs across a number of key clients, presenting to client and inter-agency teams.
  • Collaborating with internal and cross agency teams to ensure the smooth and successful execution of all key elements of the campaign – on time and on budget.
  • Working with internal Strategy, Creative and Production teams to provide senior client servicing oversight from brief to delivery.
  • Facilitating workshops and internal creative sessions.
  • Key account handling/project management skills including but not limited to;
- Project tracking i.e. status reports, timing plans etc.
- Budget development and management
- Timely and accurate client correspondence
- Writing and delivering briefs to internal & external teams
  • Maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of the resource allocation and financials of the retained account on behalf of the Partners, working to maximise profit margins whilst delivering executional excellence at every stage.
  • Developing toolkits and content plans.
  • Developing detailed and insightful evaluation documents, providing the client with a holistic overview of all meaningful results and key learnings.
  • Day to day contact with clients, key partners and external agency contacts – displaying good judgement in all dealings and adding value at all times.
  • Building strong relationships with cross functional teams to ensure client objectives are met with seamless delivery and within agreed budget and timings.
  • Championing the creation of credible and impactful work, delivering results we can all be proud of.
  • Role to be based at the agency’s Amsterdam office with local and international travel where required, including spending time at the agency’s London office.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Solid integrated marcomms experience, demonstrating an understanding of and passion for a range of key disciplines.
  • Ability to translate this strategic understanding into genuine insight, providing added value at every stage of the development process as well as consistently championing executional excellence throughout delivery.
  • Knowledge of how agency processes work and how they interlink with all other departments.
  • Excellent communication skills – demonstrates credibility and social authority when dealing with clients.
  • Excellent presentation skills - construct logical, structured verbal and written communications, tailored to the audience.
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and effectively across multiple tasks.
  • Solid experience and understanding of accurate financial management, overseeing multiple, large budgets, resource tracking and scope delivery.
  • Excellent organisational ability – works in a time efficient and organised manner. Seeks to streamline process where appropriate and prioritises effectively.
  • Attention to detail – working with care and consideration in every area of the role.
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Must be based in Amsterdam - relocation fees not covered.
