Description

The purpose of the Client Director is to be a senior owner of a client relationship either locally or across markets. A Client director is expected to : Own the relationship with their central and/or local client Ensure the implementation of the strategic vision with the support of the internal team, local markets, OpCos and specialist functions Deliver business financial targets for designated clients; Be an ambassador for the business, connecting across internal and external networks to deliver the operating model and build the brand reputation of Dentsu Aegis Network
Key Accountabilities
Overall leadership of a number of Isobar UK Clients
Delivers innovative and ambitious, strategic and commercial solutions that balance client
and agency values working closely with colleagues and client
  • Owns relationships with the client on a day to day basis.
  • Builds strong client relationships by understanding the clients strategic objectives and challenges and be able to align services across the LOB and DAN Network to supporting meeting those objectives
  • Broaden the relationship footprint to ensure retention and growth of opportunity
  • Manages virtual team to ensure they also build strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding client service
  • Immerses self and team in clients’ business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, markets they operate in, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like; knows client’s products inside out and applies this knowledge to deliver innovative, ambitious client plans and service;
  • Creates the conditions for great work and champions great work;
  • Works seamlessly with other OPCOS and markets as needed to ensure best in class delivery
  • Uses account plans to stimulate and track future work; manages across teams effectively
  • Understands client commercial framework and works with senior leadership to ensure business is run profitably
  • Improves client satisfaction to expand existing revenue streams and build new ones
  • Manages systems for forecasting accurately
  • Identifies business development opportunities – build a sustainable pipeline of business that will delivery consistent revenue streams and growth in line with the business metrics.
  • Acts as ambassador for DAN externally
