WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE
You will be working on one of the largest, iconic brands in the world, McDonald’s. Working on the Canadian Family account, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most well-known licenses and brands, such as Universal, Warner Brothers, Hasbro and Pokémon. We deliver around 10 Happy Meal campaigns a year, working across the book and toy development, packaging, POP, animation, and in-restaurant family experience.
This is a great role for someone starting out in their career who wants to learn and grow a successful marketing career. You will work closely to support an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Senior Account Director and get insight into all areas of the account.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
Outside of your drive, passion, ambition, and fun-loving approach to everything you do, there are some things we would like you to have!
Ideally you will have studied a relevant course within marketing or communications, but this is not essential
You will be a motivated person who approaches new tasks with enthusiasm and willingness to learn
You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a fast-paced workload to meet multiple deadlines
Have excellent attention to detail
You will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm approach to busy situations with an ability to multi-task effectively
You will have excellent communication skills and be a confident presenter
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
You will have enthusiasm for the creative process of campaign development
You will have a process driven mind-set – able to work within guidelines and to tight timelines
You will have a passion for the McDonald’s brand and wider marketing industry
Effective delivery of day-to-day projects across several Happy Meal promotions in development at any one time will be key
You will liaise closely with the McDonald’s clients as well as a number of stakeholders including licensors, suppliers and partner agencies.
You will work closely with the other departments such as concept, design, artwork, product and project management.
Managing campaign development, from writing the brief, briefing the designer and presenting back to the client and licensor.
Booking in meetings, managing agendas, and taking minutes
Booking in and managing resource requests
Managing the accounts ad hoc requests
Working closely with the other markets to share knowledge and findings, as well as competitor and market reviews.
Strong attention to detail for proofing and reviewing creative, including the Quebec French elements.
You will need to comfortable with management of timelines and budgets.
Due to working on a global account, it is sometimes required to work flexible hours in order to fit within the different time-zones.
