The role sits within our client management team, the engine powering much of the company’s success. You are the energy and enthusiasm keeping the team going. You will work closely with the rest of your account team to support in delivering creative and effective award-winning work for some of biggest brands globally. The work you do will help build the client’s social presence, against the client’s strategic ambition to be one of the most loved brands in the UK.
As an Account Manager, you'll be encouraged to be the point of contact for key clients, as well as look after the day to day, across all parts of the client briefing process from start to finish.
What does the role involve?
You will work closely with the Account Director in your team, to manage daily client briefs, the strategic and creative process, as well as oversee production procedures. You will work with the team to run analytical client reports and be able to understand and explain results findings. You will attend regular team and client meetings with a key understanding of the asks involved and an idea of the solutions required.
You will have a close handle on briefs coming in, in order to turn them around to tight deadlines, working with the strategic, creative, production and data teams. You will build and nurture relationships with both your team and clients, being a key client contact on a daily basis. You will be one of the key people to see the brief through to delivery to a high standard.
What you need
At least 3 years experience in an account role
Great attitude - a can-do, positive attitude, no matter the challenge.
Curiosity - to ask questions, research things you don't know about and use this to inspire those around you
Attention to detail - rigour around your work, ensuring it's as accurate as possible
Strong social skills - great at building relationships with people around you - whether internal, other agencies or clients
Creative mindset - an opinion around the work, and what you like or don't like about it
Project management skills – to see a client brief through from start to finish
Time management – able to manage own time as well as others in the teams
Strong social media understanding - demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of platforms and distribution of content
Team player – ability to collaborate with others
Experience of content production from start to finish
Good presenter and communicator
