OVERVIEW

The Digitas Account Manager is the safe pair of hands at the core of a very large Global and multi agency engagement – you are the one that holds all the pieces together seamlessly. You will believe in excellence in service, quick problem solving and passion for perfection.
The Digitas GSK team is part of a wider Publicis ‘Power of One’ engagement which works across GSK pain brands (ie- voltaren, zovirax etc) Globally. The two lead agencies are Saatchi & Saatchi and Digitas. Our role is to bring Digital Experience and Creative Innovation to every brief and every engagement.
Responsibilities:
  • Building relationships across the many agency teams
  • Understanding client’s business needs and delivering on them daily
  • Managing and setting expectations with your clients, making sure they neither see   nor feel any issues
  • Working very closely with Media and DCO engagements
  • Facilitating and owning the large schedule of work
  • Supporting the Business Leads in Lausanne and London
  • Working hand in hand with the Account Management team in London to facilitate and prepare all meetings and material needed
  • Weekly Status reports and regular updates to the team
  • Case study management
  • Billing and Finance Trackers
  • Ensure all your projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Coordinate reference materials and briefs
  • Developing strategic understanding of the client’s and our business to learn how to build a strategic partnership with clients

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Experience
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing and technology
  • Keen interest in strategy
  • Good research and analytical skills
  • Experience of big brand engagements
  • Understanding of Creative/Strategy process
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • High level of organization
  • Commercial acumen

  • They must have excellent people skills and be able to work closely with their team, and clients. They should take pride in being the person the client calls for advice or help. A can-do attitude is a must, a sense of fun, empathy and positivity
  • They should set the highest of standards, be well-organised and take pride in their attention to detail
  • They should have a strong interest in Digital Experience and how it can shape entire marketing strategies in our modern day society. This will craft the best and most effective creative product
  • They must be articulate and persuasive and clearly understand their field
  • They need to be a constant source of inspiration to the team through relentlessly looking for a fresh approach to do things better and as differently as needed, or simply by doing their own job immaculately and always looking to help out other members of the team
  • Above all, a strong work ethic and the desire to go above and beyond as asked and on their own initiative to do the best job bar none
  • Previous agency account handling experience
  • Previous digital experience
