A bit about the role …

Reporting to the Account Director/s, you would be working within the Client Services team to help drive our established account forward and be a true partner to our clients (business, strategic, creative, operational).  You will responsible for delivering excellent client service across a range of projects and activities across the global business with The Creative Engagement offices in UK and US.
The role will cover core business areas – Consumer Healthcare, Vaccines, Pharmaceuticals, Viiv (HIV) and Corporate.

What will you be doing …

Your day-to-day responsibilities can be grouped into 3 broad areas:

Leadership

  • Provide hands-on management for our client stakeholders’ activities, ensuring day-to-day consistency of delivery from the agency
  • Project manage individual projects where appropriate, being responsible for driving progress through the agency (and with the client), liaising with and managing a variety of delivery teams (from exhibitions, event, video, digital and communications planning and writing) acting as key agency liaison with the client, providing guidance and oversight for all parties in creating value and excellent results
  • Actively contribute and assist the Account Director and Global Client Engagement Director in the preparation and implementation of Account Plans etc
  • Responsible for owning the Global status report across the UK and US teams
  • Be curious and observant, interpret client challenges to identify new business opportunities

Relationship

  • Be a true partner to our clients (business, strategic, creative, operational)
  • Assist the Account Director in developing and acquiring new business by proactively managing and nurturing good client relationships at every level
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the clients’ needs, issues and business
  • Nurture internal relationships and organically promote the full range of The Creative Engagement Group services as appropriate and fit for client needs
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the full range of The Creative Engagement Group services

Accountability

  • Drive the successful delivery of projects as the client’s main point of contact from briefing to delivery and post project reviews ensuring The Creative Engagement Group Creates Unforgettable
  • Work with the operations team and heads of departments to appropriately resource projects
  • Be responsible for multiple and varied budgets with administrative support
  • Be responsible for the commercial value of projects, including fees, 3rd party spend, and internal time spent to maintain margin

What do you need to have …

  • Should already have at least 2-3 years’ experience in the communications industry
  • A champion of great creative work
  • Experience of developing campaigns for major brands at a leading TTL creative agency
  • Experience (or at least an appreciation) of integrated agency environments (channels from film, digital, social, experiential)
  • Comfortable in managing communications or content delivery requirements
  • Experience of video and digital production
  • Authentic and genuine personality; social, warm and open
  • Good listener
  • Calm and professional under pressure, able to provide support, take decisions and provide clear direction when necessary
  • Strong problem solver
  • Curious information seeker; asks questions, researches, gathers and shares insights

  • Experience of working on international business from a global or regional perspective would help (but not a necessity)
