Group Technology Agile Delivery Manager / Project Manager Permanent Grays Inn Road - London

We have in-house development teams that use a series of lean agile processes to ensure an iterative and incremental approach to Product Development. We have an opportunity for an Agile Delivery Manager/ Project Manager to join the Group Technology team to facilitate delivery. We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager who has a track record of successfully leading agile teams and is also experienced in the delivery of Waterfall projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Direct and manage the overall project delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies - Planning, Demos and Retrospectives - with the teams
  • Work with Product Owners and Stakeholders on team goals
  • Empower and coach teams to self organise and improve, ensuring solid processes and good discipline
  • Work with your teams to maximise throughput with quality, innovation and automation at the heart
  • Identify and remove issues, risks and impediments that would affect teams and business area
  • Use collaborative techniques to bring about team changes
  • Organise releases and distribute release communications
  • Track work using Jira or Trello
Skills required
  • Experience in facilitating teams using Scrum and/or Kanban
  • Good understanding of Agile ways of working - techniques and practices
  • Experience in forming new teams
  • Demonstrable experience of planning, estimating and metrics
  • Experience in coaching and facilitation
  • Knowledge of Internet/digital development technologies
  • Project Management certifications eg PRINCE2, Scrum and/or Kanban
Desirable:
  • Use of Project Planning tool such as MS Office, Clarizen etc
  • Use of GSuite
  • Media sector.
