The Hearst Content Agency is looking for a dynamic, resourceful and talented Art Director for O2 Alive Magazine. We need someone who has experience of working on a tight budget but who wants to break new ground it comes to graphic design and print layouts.
As the role is part of a small team, you must be able to think on your feet, be willing to get stuck in and also be keen to build a good relationship with the O2 client.
You will get to make your mark on this bi-monthly music, culture and entertainment title, which is distributed for free in O2 stores. Experience of working with a client is a bonus, but we want bag loads of enthusiasm, creative flair and ideas too.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Design and conceptual development in line with client brief for O2 magazine
• Design layouts across magazine and work with editor to create cover concepts each issue
• Stay ahead of trends and new ideas and have the ability to interpret these in to relevant creative
• Understand client objectives, offer ways to meet these and liaise with client confidently
• Ensure only the highest quality creative is delivered and meets the brand objectives
• Commission illustrators/photographers as required
• Work with creative agency to ensure O2 brand look and feel is met
About You:
• InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and repro knowledge
