OLIVER have a great opportunity for a Creative Artworker to be based onsite with one of our teams in London.
You will be providing mostly digital artwork and design services. You will take artwork briefs from the client and therefore the role demands a consistent and accurate approach to layout and design to fulfil the brief within agreed timescales. Taking personal responsibility for client liaison on allocated jobs, time management and the completion of timesheets are all important requirements.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...
This role would be perfect for a junior Artworker looking to step up to the next level. The team is dedicated to one of our most exciting clients, The National Tourism Agency for the UK - VisitBritain. VisitBritain spans across approx. 11 international markets as well as domestic travel, events, PR, corporate and business services and it is a very high paced studio with approx. 160 jobs per month and having an average turnaround time from brief to delivery ranging from quick one hour turnarounds to lengthier projects that last up to four days. The scope of work spans all media, including OOH, digital, social and print.
The role is highly process orientated. We are looking for an Artworker with a keen eye for detail, someone who is obsessed with the format of of the finished article.
ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
You’ll be joining a permanent on-site team of 7 others, consisting of integrated designers, video editors, and project management And in this autonomous and fast-paced environment, you’ll be expected to draw upon your experience and know just how to get on with things first time – especially on fast turn-around projects.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
Demonstrate creative flair whilst working within brand guidelines
Creating artwork for on and offline communications, including brochures, leaflets, ads, emails, web banners and large format, following brand guidelines
Working alongside our integrated designers end to end on projects. Informing the design process on what works best for the artwork output
Take personal responsibility for the quality, consistency and presentation of artwork
Be a great team player and have good communication skills
Ability to provide a high level of customer service
Maintain internal processes and look for ways to improve them
Take responsibility for professional development and knowledge of latest software
Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the design team
Proactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy and consistency
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
Experience of dealing with clients
Excellent teamwork and time management skills
Accurate and consistent completion of timesheets
You must be confident with clients, and have a consistent record of taking, interpreting and delivering design projects, within very tight timeframes.
Excellent artworking skills (layout, creativity, attention to detail and methodical)
Experience working with cutter guides and strict print guidelines
Experience artworking across marketing campaign collateral, PPT, events collateral and OOH
Not mandatory but preferred experience in creating accessible assets
Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and provide consistent artwork quality
Experience in management of artwork collateral
Excellent customer service skills – ability to demonstrate excellent face to face and written relationships with client as clients can span across several countries
Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
Quick but accurate working method
Great teamwork skills
Excellent Adobe CS skills; Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; and PPT mandatory
Comfortable with reading and analysing briefs digitally
Not mandatory but preferred experience with basic animation (GIFs)
