PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:
Responsible for product order entry and servicing for adidas Golf Sports Marketing athletes and assets at the Junior, Amateur and European Tour levels. Identify and recruit future adidas Golf athletes currently playing at the Junior, Amateur and Professional levels.  Build trusting and valuable relationships with players, their families and teachers as well as our partners at England Golf and at other national golf federations and unions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop strong relationships with players at Junior, Amateur and Professional levels, through building trust and establish self as a product expert.
  • Primary point of contact for adidas Golf European Tour athletes providing them with product knowledge and current product expectations.
  • Identify and recruit select players that have potential to use adidas Golf products and work with them to provide the best products to suit their individual needs.
  • Work directly with adidas Golf Global Sports Marketing Senior Manager to further enhance strong working relationships with the elite adidas Golf college programs and their best players.
  • Work directly with England Golf counterpart to ensure best-in-class service model required by adidas Golf National Sponsorship of England Golf.
  • Effectively communicate to Team Members important information as it relates to specific Junior, Amateur and Professional players as well as competitors equipment/ sponsorship programs etc.
  • Work closely with adidas Golf Sports Marketing Senior Manager to achieve department goals and objectives based on Global Sports Marketing strategy for adidas Golf.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as deemed valuable to the success of adidas Golf Sports Marketing.
  • Represent adidas Golf at the highest levels at all times to the player, his/her family, agent, teacher etc.
  • Work with adidas Golf Brand Marketing to ensure that our National Sponsorship of England Golf, as well as contracted athletes, are leveraged and activated to provide maximum return on our investment.
  • With the position consisting of 50% - 60% travel and in excess of 150 days on the road, manage a T&E Budget to efficiently and effectively cover all requirements of the role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of basic order entry within SAP and willingness to learn SAP best practices.
  • Past experience competing at an elite level in Amateur and Professional golf.
  • Strong knowledge of adidas Golf products.
  • Knowledge of competitive products and their product support programs.
  • Proven team player with “can do” attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker who maintains team structure and priorities.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience working in the golf industry or playing competitively at a high level.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, some holidays and weekends to achieve company and department goals.
  • Comfortable spending time outdoors regardless of weather.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with support, carrying boxes, shipping, etc.
