The TV & Film PR Team is part of the Consumer Engagement Team whose role is to inspire media and influencers to champion the best of Sky.
Our team is here to get our content talked about – whether it’s our great original shows like Brassic or Gangs of London, our international hit shows like The Undoing or Succession, as well as our fantastic film offering.
We’re creative, driven and action orientated – we deliver great PR campaigns that contribute to customers valuing their subscription and prospective customers joining Sky.
What you’ll do:
You’ll work alongside one other Assistant PR Executive in the team. You’ll be an important part of the team, supporting everyone in their work.
We are looking for someone with an interest in PR and the media, who’s motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and delivery of priority PR campaigns for key shows in the PR team 
  • Draft media assets and materials to the highest standard, researching and fact checking information 
  • Upload releases to Sky’s media centre and issue releases directly to media 
  • Build a network of media contacts and a broad understanding of the media (online/digital, broadcast, print)
  • Manage the team email inbox, dealing with media queries, providing routine information and referring queries on where necessary
  • Manage Sky Screening room – our website where journalists can watch preview episodes of Sky’s content 
  • Collate media coverage and provide updates to the team and wider business 
  • Undertake administrative activities as required – including booking transport, raising purchase orders and managing expenditure on our internal financial system, maintaining contact lists, and various other tasks related to the successful operating of the team

What you’ll bring:
  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for the media – interested in a career in PR 
  • Some experience of the role of PR and social media is preferable 
  • Organised and efficient, while adept at working to specific deadlines 
  • Collaboration – ability to be good team player
  • Keen interest in TV and Film, popular culture and the media industry in general 
  • Flexibility – need to be able to adapt to changing demands in a busy environment
  • Excellent personal and written communication skills

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station.
