Iris are looking for a ACD to join the creative department of one of the most dynamic, future facing agencies in London. The successful candidate will come from a conceptual background with a strong book that demonstrates great craft skills. They should have spent time in a leading creative environment and be looking to move somewhere that will stretch them, broaden their outlook and be a vital step in their career programme.
We’re looking for a dynamic, driven, passionate and collaborative Associate Creative Director to join our London team and push our creative work on the Nectar account to even greater creative heights.
The primary purpose of the Associate Creative Director is to champion and nurture the creative output on their key accounts for the agency. And to deliver work that lives up to our ‘For The Forward’ mantra.
As the Associate Creative Director, you will be responsible for the collective talents of the teams working into you. It is your challenge to inspire them to consistently produce outstanding work using your leadership skills. As well as developing best-in-class thinking of your own.
Work in partnership with the CCO to drive the quality of the creative output
Challenge creatives and account teams to make every job the best it can be
Actively participate in the ‘Brainstrust’ operating system to turbo charge the best creative ideas
Lead the development of ideas and enhance the quality of the creative ideas developed on your key accounts
We need someone with a broad set off skills, but with a bias towards copywriter.
Set the creative ambition for those key clients along with the planning lead, account lead, production lead and the CCO – set measurable targets around creative fame (PR and awards)
Ensure we consistently produce creative output which is on time, on brief and that delights (and surprises) our clients
Develop strong, trusted relationships with senior clients and senior account management team to help create influence
Be able to present ideas both internally and to clients in an inspirational way
Build the profile of our work internally and externally by championing the creative product and putting you/our pov out there via thought leadership
Make Iris a beacon for the attraction of the hottest (new/young) creative talent
Become an expert / scholar in the specialist skills required on your account
broader team outside the creative department including our social, content and production teams.
Influencer – we need someone who can build relationships and gain respect client side, to help open doors and get the best work sold in. Good people skills - radiators not drains
Manage yours and your team’s time effectively to be able to produce outstanding, profit making, creative ideas
Encourage a focus on client budgets within the team so that ideas developed truly maximise / are appropriate to the potential of the opportunity.
Embody the iris vision of ‘excite progress’, foster creative innovation and help to engrain it in the daily life of the agency.
Be responsible for the active on-going management, career development, general well- being and formal review process of everyone in your team.
Conduct monthly status meets with Creative management – on team, task and agency specific issues.
Build and foster a positive and collaborative, solution orientated approach to problem solving and idea development, working closely - and taking joint accountability - with Client Partners
