The audience growth intern will work within the audience growth team, a key part of the editorial team that supports the growth of the Vogue and GQ websites internationally.
The ideal candidate will speak and read two or more languages in which we publish and a journalism degree / postgrad qualification or a strong interest in fashion and journalism.
This is a great first step for someone interested in audience development, a key area of journalism which includes social media, SEO and analytics.
You will also be part of a cutting-edge digital newsroom and learn how social, video and features teams work.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Occasional report and presentation preparation
Identifying newsworthy photos and stories
Spotting growth opportunities from the data
Supporting our data analyst in day-to-day tasks
Monitoring all global Vogues and using editorial analytic tools like PublishCheck to ensure accuracy of data
Working with the editorial team to ensure data is consistent and accurate before each end of the month
Maintaining the Vogue International output tracking system. This involves adding links to a Google Sheet and refreshing the dashboard on a daily basis
Essential Skills & Requirements
Comfortable with Google Sheets, Excel, ideally with working knowledge of Pivot Tables
Ability to learn fast to use our editorial planning and monitoring tools
Strong knowledge of the digital media landscape
An eye for detail and accuracy
Interest in SEO and data
Ability to juggle and prioritise tasks
Detail oriented and a team player
Proactive and passionate to initiate ideas and able to present in a clear format (e.g. docs/ presentation slides)
Experience in an editorial environment or studying a relevant course (desirable but not essential)
Interest in fashion and awareness of key designers (desirable but not essential)
A people-first person with strong communication, both verbal and written
The ideal candidate will have experience of living and working within another culture and will speak a second language
