THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Leading the development of breakthrough and memorable brand experiences, services and products for The Body Shop that are aligned to the ‘human’ side of our brand purpose and help us to achieve social equality and social connection as well as expressing our feminist outlook.
MORE ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Asses, Propose and launch breakthrough brand experiences and services for The Body Shop that are embedded in our brand purpose, drive brand buzz and new customer acquisition.
  • Constantly map and be aware of new trends within brand services/ experience and write concepts for The Body Shop that are aligned with the overall brand marketing objectives (e.g To recruit new consumers).
  • Be customer centric - use Customer insights data to measure relevance, demand and viability of each new experience and service concept, always putting the customer at the heart.
  • Bring these experiences and services to life by developing strategic and creative 360 campaigns, working with wider teams in both Brand and Customer functions to deliver on time.
  • Follow consumer & market intelligence – understanding the differences between our markets on consumer behaviours, market trends and competitor framework.
  • High fit with The Body Shop Purpose (culture, values), excellent understanding of the Purpose strategic framework and ability to translate it into project execution.
  • Curious and creative – thinking outside the box (and outside the beauty industry) for truly disruptive and memorable brand experiences for TBS.
  • Partner with the Activism tea, Brand Development (brand), & Customer Experience Team (Customer) on the development and planning of concepts

LOCATION
Our global HQ is currently located in the heart of East Croydon – 1 minute walk from the train station and just 10 minutes by train from Clapham Junction and 16 minutes from London Victoria. Our East Croydon office provides a light, modern and open-plan work space that includes an onsite global café.
As of 27th August 2019 we will be moving to our new home, based near London Bridge. 155 Tooley Street is a contemporary and vibrant workplace that will inspire our creativity and represent who we are, our brand and our purpose. A 5 minute walk from the mainline and tube stations, surrounded by all the attractions and amenities that London Bridge has to offer, our new office is a short stroll away from the River Thames and Tower Bridge through Potters Fields Park.
