Brand Marketing Executive, BritBox London (Waterhouse Square) 12-18 Month Fixed Term Contract Position Full-time

What this role will entail... BritBox is one of ITV's most exciting initiatives, a new British direct-to-consumer SVoD service in strategic partnership with the BBC. Joining the BritBox team presents a unique opportunity to help create an incredible new service from the ground up.
The role's main purpose is to support the Head of Marketing and Head of Direct-to-Consumer to successfully launch BritBox into the UK with a clear positioning and high-profile brand launch campaign, and play a key role in delivering ongoing brand and editorially-led communications. As part of a relatively small team that will initially be in start-up mode it will be important for the incoming person to be a self-starter, happy to pick up tasks and projects that may not fall directly in their remit and prepared to get involved in everything from strategy development to brand guardianship, to detailed execution and delivery, with particular focus on on-air, and off-air offline channels.
Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the BritBox Marketing team to deliver a high-profile, impactful and creatively ambitious launch marketing campaign, as well as day to day promotional activity across on-air, off-air and social media, and promotional campaigns for Original Commissions.
  • Lead the process on allocated projects from planning & briefing through to development of ideas with ITV Creative or external agencies, media planning, to delivery of the campaign.
  • Work closely with Media Planning and external media agency on delivery of on-air and offline campaigns.
  • Work closely with Corporate Comms, Press & Picture Publicity and Internal Comms teams to deliver BritBox comms to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Editorial team to develop Marketing calendar.
  • Brand guardian. Ensure that internal and external stakeholders, broadcast, platform and distribution partners have all brand assets that they require, and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to.
  • Responsibility for Marketing costs tracker and raising POs to ensure team stays within budgets and timelines.
  • Keep team abreast of industry trends and creative innovation.
The ideal candidate:
  • Passionate about TV and SVoD
  • Significant experience managing through complex marketing campaigns, with knowledge of TV production, TV media planning, off air media production (Outdoor, Radio, Cinema, Digital etc) .
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms esp Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Experience in delivery of paid social campaigns is desirable.
  • Commercial experience with robust ROI measurement is desirable.
  • The role requires high levels of organisation, with strong planning skills and the ability to prioritise a large workload according to ever changing business needs.
  • A self-motivated team player with ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and able to effectively communicate, understand their needs and deliver solutions quickly.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with third party agencies and creative teams to manage projects and deliver on time and on budget.
  • Excellent project management, administrative and IT skills and ability to manage multiple systems.
  • Be flexible and able to meet tight deadlines and work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.
