A Day in the Life: Managing a close-knit AV planning and buying team, working solely across Unilever brands ranging from Walls to Sure. Your primary responsibilities will be overseeing the day to day running of the accounts across all AV media internally and conversing with both Clients and Media owners alike on a regular basis to ensure all campaigns are planned and delivered as required. Your day will range from monitoring TV, VOD and radio campaigns to negotiating with media owner, through to buying airtime when required.
We would expect the successful applicant to be able to multi-task while working under tight deadlines and still be able to find time to enjoy good business relationships with internal and external contacts.

Become Unilever’s trusted adviser, working on plans and acting in their interests
Offer coaching and support to the team to ensure that the team runs efficiently with a ‘can do’ attitude
Review and regularly appraise all direct reports and ensure clear targets are set and that the appropriate support is in place
Work with the market to execute aligned to UL agreements
Have experience working leading market auditors and supplying complex data needs
Key skills and personal attributes:
Highly developed technical media skills; able to navigate complex client needs
Sound working understanding of all major UK media owners
Proven ability and experience of leading and motivating a team
Ability to quickly command respect from clients and colleagues alike
Ability to balance competing demands of different stakeholders without deviating from an objective and independent perspective
A great communicator able to explain complicated concepts simply
Ability to produce compelling written work and to deliver insightful and articulate presentations
Commercial aptitude and an ability to sell
A ‘self-starter’ prepared to assume and carry responsibility
