Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence tech specialist who will support our business units building and maintaining BI solutions and reporting systems in order to provide insights gained from analysing company data.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field, is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimisation and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
You will have strong experience using Tableau and other data tools and data mining/data analysis methods, building and implementing automatic reporting solutions, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations.
The right candidate will have a passion for
  • Discovering insights in large data sets, identify trends and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes;
  • Designing, developing and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards using large datasets from different sources
Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Analyse data from company databases and data warehousing to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Maintaining and developing our suite of insight and performance reports to give stakeholders visibility of how the business is performing
  • Support company A/B testing.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 2-3 years experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process optimization
  • Experience using query computer languages (SQL, Python, or others) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau to deliver your insights in a clear and engaging manner
  • Business acumen and understanding of the role of business intelligence
  • Experience working with and creating data models and architectures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
