You’ll be working in BT’s Data & AI Solutions business. Part of BT Strategy and Transformation, the team has big growth ambitions centred on building innovative, customer-centric propositions that are underpinned by data. You will be supporting the Data Solutions Programme, Product & Commercial teams in setting and delivering against their business plans to optimise the success of projects across the function. You will work closely with the Managing Director for Data & AI Solutions, ensuring effective communication across all areas of DAIS and with other teams in BT. You will be responsible for producing materials to track delivery against strategic objectives.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Assisting the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team in Data & AI Solutions in delivering their priorities and responsibilities.
Communicating the objectives, interests and vision of the MD and his team to a range of stakeholders
Producing business presentations and trackers.
Updating reports for internal and external purposes.
Responsible for internal communications within DAIS, both formal and informal (e.g. newsletter, managing the Teams site, managing agendas for team meetings etc).
Supporting the Programme Director and Central Operations team in agile planning and governance.
Estimating costs and time requirements of projects.
Supporting the MD and Directors in running key meetings, ensuring that the agenda items are robust and tracked effectively.
Supporting and managing team events.
Picking up and owning end-to-end any specific projects as required, including some ad-hoc project management.
Incorporating user suggestions into projects.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Ideally 3-5 years’ experience working in the technology or telecoms sector in a strategy, policy, communications or finance role, or in consultancy.
Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders, including at a senior level, with the confidence to challenge and make suggestions where appropriate.
Financial numeracy and an ability to develop commercial business cases, developed through study and/or work experience.
You have been responsible for producing reports and presentations in a range of different formats, including PowerPoint and excel.
Experienced team player, familiar with working in agile environments.
