CNI Commercial is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate who has both financial acumen and an interest in the media/publishing environment, to support activities which ultimately manage all revenue generated by CNI Commercial.
This is a varied and exciting role which sits between the CNI Business Intelligence function and various Condé Nast financial departments worldwide.
This role would suit someone looking to build on their first financial/commercial role where you have gained the confidence to deal professionally with stakeholder groups and demonstrated process improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Consolidation of global client spend reports/audits for various stakeholders
Responding to financial queries (internal & from markets)
Instructing intercompany transfers by submitting market invoices
Instructing production overages at the request of CNIC Creative Team
Instructing production invoices in accordance with central SOW's
Instructing monthly invoices for centrally billed campaigns
Monitoring all centrally billed campaign payment schedules.
Sending out market revenue summaries for monthly income statements
Generating reports from the revenue database and assisting in it’s maintenance
Essential Skills & Requirements
Experience as a finance assistant and/or a related role
Strong administrative skills and ability to prioritise work
Highly analytical and extensive experience of working within excel & Google sheets (Vlookup and Pivot tables) and able to manipulate and validate data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter, capable of working under own initiative
Problem solving/proactive in bringing ideas and suggestions to improve process
Able to work in a fast-paced environment amidst ambiguity
Personable and naturally collaborative
Understanding or experience of media/publishing environment
Experience of working within an organisation with presence across the world
Ability to speak multiple languages
