Role and Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity in Europe, with the right candidate, to relaunch a core proposition and turn what is currently a relatively small service into a market leading brand in its own right.
The proposition sits alongside Samsung’s device business, generates loyalty in our consumers, offers a unified promotional platform & generates incremental revenue to the business. However, the proposition is far from achieving its full potential, this role is an incredibly exciting opportunity to shape a core proposition & drive some substantial growth.
What will this role achieve?
This role requires a candidate with solid commercial acumen and significant experience in either creating service/base propositions or driving exponential growth in an existing service. The role requires an individual who can deliver on:
Initial commercial assessment of the existing proposition & operating structure Propose, business case and sell in the solutions Implementation management/ delivery
Skills and Qualifications
What will be your key deliverables?
Initial commercial assessment of the existing proposition & operating structure. Thorough proposition assessment to establish:
Solution planning/ business casing:
Create business cases demonstrating ROI of solutions proposed / Prioritisation of solutions
Obtain stakeholder approval to proceed
Sell in to the wider business (global organisation, this can require multiple/convoluted stakeholders/ areas of the business)
Partnerships & commercial negotiations:
European ownership of existing partners
Ownership of any tender process required and the associated contracting
Commercial negotiation with existing and any new partners/suppliers
Stakeholder management & relationships:
Build relationships to generate advocates of the relaunched service
Manage relationship between HQ and subsidiaries
Support & manage communication between subsidiaries and IT delivery functions to ensure delivery of project(s)
Obtain marketing investment to drive awareness of relaunched brand
Project delivery & implementation
What do we need for this role?
Commercial Management – Extensive experience of creating & presenting business cases and demonstrating ROI.
Contracts & Negotiation – Experience of end to end contract negotiation
Project Management – Experience of managing projects and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and in budget
Stakeholder management/ partnership management – Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively and with varying styles to internal stakeholders and regional partners.
Financial regulatory experience/ knowledge
Mobile industry experience/ knowledge
Resilient, Tenacious, Self-starter, Analytical
