Do you spend your time binging the latest podcast or TV show? Do you constantly scroll social media and always know the next big thing when you see it? Do you already work in or think you have what it takes to work in entertainment? Then this could be the role for you.
Ebury Press, the team behind authors such as Peter Crouch, Big Narstie, Mindy Kaling and Tan France, is looking for a Commissioning Editor.
Ebury Press isn’t one-size-fits-all and the brief for bringing big, exciting talent to the book world is open and diverse. We just need someone with their finger on the pulse who can spot where the next breakthrough is coming from. Someone who can recognise engaged online platforms and personalities when they see them and has a strong desire to do things differently and change the agenda. A book publishing background isn’t essential, although the role might suit someone already in the entertainment, TV or social media industry. A willingness to learn new skills quickly and a desire to create standout, entertaining books is essential.
If the sound of this job excites you then please tell us why and apply by 3rd November with a CV and cover letter addressed to Sara. We’d also love to know about one thing from the world of entertainment that has your attention right now (no more than 300 words).
