This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced content creator to originate, develop and deliver high impact tech content to maximise Ocado Technology's engagement with its key audiences and stakeholders at a global scale.
The Content Lead will work closely within the Technology Communications team to create compelling content that hits strategic objectives - in a variety of formats and across a range of platforms.
The Content lead will liaise with key teams to ensure a wide range of stories are told through coherent, creative narratives that anticipate specific audience needs
Key responsibilities will include:
Support the wider tech comms team in researching, reporting, assembling and producing content in different formats and various digital platforms
Ensure the outcomes are consistently of the highest standards, for impact and added value
Ensure the outcomes are aligned with the business goals and brand identity
Closely follow the wider technology debate and ideate topical content campaigns that highlight Ocado Technology’s cutting-edge innovation, vision and culture
Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders across the business to generate content campaign ideas mapped to business objectives
Elevate Ocado Technology’s unique culture and values (trust, autonomy, craftsmanship, collaboration, learn fast and leadership) through suitable content campaigns
Manage the Technology sections of the corporate website, including ensuring text copy, video and graphic assets are kept fresh and engaging
Ensure content is optimised for Social and SEO
Contribute to the overall Technology Communications strategy, developing messages, campaigns and products that deliver awareness, amplification and acquisition
Lead and develop the deployment of those content and campaign ideas, including multi-platform, multi-media treatments
Constantly liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure there is a shared understanding of needs, no content opportunities are missed, and there is no duplication
Utilise data to improve usability, design and content; adapt strategy initiatives accordingly

Proven experience in editorial leadership: impactful content generation, development and deployment across a variety of formats and platforms
Outstanding storytelling abilities to distil complex technical content on topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, automation electronics, mechanics, manufacturing, or logistics into engaging narratives that anticipate the needs of different audiences.
Thorough understanding of digital: what content resonates and how it travels, including but not limited to website, social media and SEO
Second to none attention to detail; eagle-eye for proofreading and nuance of language; credentials on ensuring the highest quality output
Strong team player who is self-motivated and able to multitask under pressure. You have the ability to solve problems with positive outcomes.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work
Creative approach to both content issues and problem solving
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people, inside and outside of the organization
