Responsibilities
The Role:
Working with the Retail division of a prestigious technology client, the Content Manager/Quality Controller will be the final guardian of high-profile and fast-turnaround web, social in-store and marketing assets. Although primarily covering the EMEA region they will also need to take a wider global view, working closely with two other Hogarth hubs in California and London. This collaboration will be critical to success.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the digital and social space, particularly their production requirements, including resolution and outputs.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, comfortable working in an open plan studio, organized, undaunted by tight deadlines and have a keen eye for image quality.
QC of all materials pre-delivery to the client, checking all adapts are present, sized and to spec for publication
Checking all assets adhere to brand guidelines, playbooks and marketing/partner specifications
Understanding and contributing to ever evolving workflows to ensure flawless delivery
Liaising with Project Management & Design teams to ensure consistency and quality across materials, with an eye on continuous improvement and increased efficiency
Checking that new Masters supplied on a quarterly cadence are fit for purpose
Maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of the client brand guidelines and expectations, keeping up to date with any changes as these evolve
Flagging any concerns or issues experienced with the format in which work is received, so that feedback can be given and processes consistently adhered to
As required, supporting final publication of content within clients proprietary CMS
An exceptional eye for detail with the ability to work at pace while maintaining absolute focus (and in an open plan environment) are essential to success
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Previous experience in a Quality Control role, gained within a creative or production agency
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and its annotation tools
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite an advantage
Ability to proofread and mark-up on screen
Organized, proactive with good communication skills both verbal and written
Additional EMEA languages beneficial but not essential
