Superside is looking for an ambitious Content Marketing Manager to join our remote-first team. As an integral member of the Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for helping Superside grow even faster by building an amazing content marketing program for our existing customer base in order to help with retention and expansion.
You will own a key function on a marketing team that has proven its ability to drive rapid growth from $1M-$10M ARR, and be part of our ongoing growth journey from $10M to $100M ARR and beyond.
Reporting to the VP, Marketing, your success in this role will be measured by your ability to produce customer-facing content across a variety of channels, that enables product adoption, creates brand affinity and loyalty, and generates new opportunities within existing accounts. You will work closely with our Community and Social Media, Customer Success and Expansion sales teams in order to team to better serve our customer base.
You consider yourself a marketer, first. You have an eye towards what content to produce and know how your content is performing, so you can tweak your output/production accordingly
You will own all of our post-sales content, both strategy and execution. You can utilize freelancers where needed and will have support of our team of creatives to bring your ideas to life
You will contribute to the blog occasionally especially as it pertains to spotlighting customers and their successes
Own our customer comms program including the monthly customer newsletter and other ad-hoc customer communications especially as it relates to pricing changes, product announcements and so on
You will own our customer education and training resources program - again both strategy and execution. This could include stuff like How To videos, Courses that customers (but also prospects) can take to upskill themselves, Product announcements that drive usage etc.
You will work closely with the Customer Success team to identify fans/advocates of ours, develop them, work with them, solicit testimonials, referrals etc and other forms of UCG content to be used in our marketing
Collaborate with the Customer Success team to run workshops and events that add value to our customer base and helps with retention and expansion efforts
You will also own finding and securing speaking opportunities for the exec team and our customers. Podcasts and online events will be the main focus in the beginning
While this won’t be a major part of your role, you may also do some blogger/publication outreach that focuses on putting the spotlight on our customers. Their story of ‘creative transformation’ with Superside in the background.
Director of Customer Marketing OR Director of Content Marketing. We feel that this role is equal parts marketing and content development.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
4+ years of experience in various Content Marketing or Customer Marketing roles
You’ve worked in marketing at a B2B company, and are very familiar with the goals of Content Marketing programs
Used to working directly with customers and building relationships that could be leveraged for customer marketing and education
You can run a tight, rigorous process and can manage multiple projects and stakeholders through reviews and approvals
You are used to working closely with customer success
You’re good with a high degree of flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity
You possess the desire to roll up your sleeves, execute, and create scalable processes within a growing company
You're self-motivated and will constantly seek out ways to help the company with reach and efficiency
