We’re looking for a permanent Network Content Producer for our Clyde 1 and Hits Radio Scotland team in Glasgow.
As our network content producer, you will work alongside the Head of Content and show producers supporting all our network shows. You will take the lead in producing our Evening Show, helping deliver it at a local level, ensuring the highest standards of detail are met and everything is always executed brilliantly.
You will be joining the Hits Radio Network in Scotland which consists of the Clyde 1, Forth 1, MFR, Northsound 1 and Tay FM. It’s our mission to be an even bigger force in the radio market in Scotland and maintain our market leading dominance across the country.
Ensure that our daytimes shows are prepped for the next day with everything in place for our presenters.
Act as in-studio producer for our evening show, working with our presenter on show features, competitions and big-name guests.
Plan and produce shows, from content planning to transmission.
Lead the promotion of our evening shows outside of show hours.
Assist our social media strategy and online presence, finding new ways to engage and grow audiences.
Act a network lead working with our charity team, Cash for Kids.
Complete training to be able to provide cover for Clyde 1 Superscoreboard.
Help book and manage all the aspects of a celebrity interview.
Build automated shows to run in weekend off-peak programming.
Manage the information that is shared with network teams to ensure information in local TSA’s is up to date daily.
A strong awareness of the Hits Radio Network in Scotland.
Knowledge and understanding of a commercial radio environment.
Impeccable planning, admin and communication skills.
Proficient use of digital playout/management systems.
Digital audio editing skills for pre and postproduction.
