E-commerce Site Coordinator (Concessions & International)
Established in 2016 the department has undergone rapid expansion as it strives to deliver an aggressive development roadmap alongside equally aggressive revenue aspirations.
The brand is committed to delivering global revenues of €0.5bn from these channels over the next few years. Central to that growth is the E-commerce and Omni-Channel operation team located in London (UK), that currently manages eight localized transactional websites, servicing 45 countries (and growing) including UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Singapore, India, UAE, South Africa and more.
A self-starter, used to work in a fast passed, continually evolving environment and as such challenging but simultaneously rewarding, hands-on with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility,
The role will hold dual responsibility for two new exciting propositions for Michael Kors EMEA; International Shipping and Digital Concession.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the assistant trading manager in maximise sales and visitor conversion across all Michael Kors digital channels via effective merchandising, planning and analysis, as well as the international sites.
Execute site merchandising strategies based on collective evaluations of defined KPIs, to agreed timescales.
Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure the highest standards of excellence, consistency and optimised performance across the international sites and concessions.
Source and supplying the digital creative assets, working with EU Ecom design teams and EMEA wholesale teams to ensure consistency of brand and brand exposure in both international and concession markets.
Proactively develop and maintain an effective working relationship with multiple teams across the business and outside the business teams. Ensure a clear and consistent flow of communication. Continually collaborate, share best practice and identify conversion driving opportunities.
Ensure concessions and international considerations are fully understood and considered in all global discussions and decisions.
Report weekly against site metrics and key KPIS for each channel, ensuring actions can be take each week to drive incremental conversion and therefore sales opportunity
Produce ad-hoc and post event analysis of all site key activities, identifying actionable insights.
Support the assistant trading manager with detailed analysis to drive forecasting
Initial point of contact for all concession partners ecom teams, supporting and providing clear processes and identifying and fixing any issues that arise
Managing the activation of products to the concession sites so products are live on time following the EU calendar, as well as ensuring categorisation, product ordering and navigational opportunities are fully exploited with each partner
Management of additional photography requirements, sample management and copy requirements with the relevant teams.
Deliver support for all international requirements from range expansion opportunities to pricing alignments.
Working with all partners to ensure the pricing strategies are aligned per country, pricing is aligned for full price, and also for markdown. Propose and challenge where needed.
Work with the finance team, to ensure all initial pricing is uploaded on time and in full
Working closely with the planning teams to ensure that calendared pricing events are delivered on time and in full for all markdown events
Support to ensure that all products are merchandised within the correct categories, and commercially presented online, working with EU Ecom counterparts to influence international specific requirements, as well as Concessions
Experience in an e-com site merchandising role ideally within an international retail environment.
A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Advanced skillset for extracting and utilising data from a web metrics tool (Ideally Adobe Omniture).
Experience managing e-com toolsets
Strong PC Skills – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
