JOB PURPOSE
You will be responsible for the timely delivery of brand and product copy, in line with the marketing and business strategies and priorities. The role includes building partnerships with cross-functional teams throughout marketing, creative media, digital commerce and the rest of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead copy delivery in a timely manner and on brief
Understand the Burberry brand, the luxury sector and the digital landscape in order to guide the fulfillment of briefs
Own and improve copy delivery processes, including communicating them to the business
Handle multiple projects across multiple channels concurrently
Partner with the transcreation team and project managers throughout the business to agree on the best possible critical path for each project
Resource copywriters and subeditors and manage the approval process
Support adoption of project management and copywriting tools
Communicate on the wider pictures for projects and business strategies to the Copy and Transcreation team
Manage the copy delivery assistant
PERSONAL PROFILE
Proven experience of project management, either in-house or in an agency
Results and detail-oriented
Understanding of marketing principles and strategy, particularly digital marketing and of the product lifecycle
Ability to bring people together around a project and to motivate them
Understanding of the particular challenges of writing copy for non-English-speaking countries, including cultural awareness
Knowledge of the luxury sector and consumer behaviour
Ability to stand your ground and to work fairly autonomously
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
