We’re looking for a copywriter passionate about moving people. You’re all about taking in a lot of information, boiling it down to that one clear idea, and then creating compelling ways to get your ideas across. When it comes to brand identity, you know just how to capture and define brand voice. Our writers understand that being precious about their work doesn’t make for the best result – but they’re not afraid to make the case for what they believe in. Creative and clever, but also analytical and clear, they have a grand vision for the spectacular and a passion for detail. They work well under pressure, keeping their cool when the deadlines change. Highly collaborative, they work in closely knit teams to push things just a little bit further. They know just how to move a client and get them excited about the work we do. The copywriter role interfaces daily with all disciplines within POSSIBLE and has a responsibility for delivering relevant and innovative creative social and web content for our clients. The role requires:
Silky smooth client facing coupled with strong presentation skills.
Collaborative team member and stake-holder engagement skills.
Problem solving through creative thought and concepts.
Excellent communication skills, including written English, verbal presentation and visual representation is mandatory.
Ability to develop strong relationships with everyone from Planners to your co-creatives, interns to management, and to clients at all levels.
Rigorous execution of creative tasks and presentations.
Writing, editing and publishing engaging content for a variety of digital assets including website, paid media including display, skins, etc., various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and eCRM primarily email marketing.
Optimizing content (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviours as well as brand identity.
Supporting Art Directors/Designers in the selection appealing images and videos to complement text.
Update the copy for social media pages with compelling product and brand news.
Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, open roles and product releases).
Suggest creative solutions for techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions or other digital concepts.
Network with clients and industry professionals where required.
Strong concepting skills, able to create high level ideas and concepts, rooting decisions in brand, business and customer insights.
Strong ability to bring a tone of voice to life. Every brand voice is unique. Every audience is different. Keeping them straight and writing strong copy for each is critical.
Great with clients, able to present your point of view clearly and with passion.
Proven ability to forge strong relationships with your team, working closely together toward a common goal.
Attention to detail – even minor errors betray a lack of care.
Ability to craft and edit engaging content for a variety of channels, including websites, various social networks and email. Understanding the various nuances of major channels, media and platforms, including standards, limitations and opportunities, is a way to make real change in your audiences.
Have an appreciation of the relationship between textual and visual elements – and great design in general – working closely with art directors and designers to create peak moments for people.
Ability to think big, proactively creating ideas and concepts to help boost brand awareness.
