Topical, know your way around a spreadsheet, love for all things fashion, food, beauty and beyond? This exciting role is at the forefront of the evolving vision of Harvey Nichols. Working with the Creative Content Team, you will provide essential support for the smooth running of the Creative Content Team and contribute to the day-to-day workings of the wider team.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the instore product booking system and to be familiar with all regulations relating to the movement of merchandise. In addition, you will maintain an up to date knowledge of shopfloor and online merchandise and brand restrictions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store teams and individuals including Store Director, Floor Managers, Security, Stock teams and Loading Bay teams to ensure receiving and booking out stock and samples runs smoothly. Also work with the merchandising and warehouse teams to receive and return stock transfers.
  • Manage the sample process for the weekly still life shoots in co-ordination with the Junior Market Editor. Working closely with Northamptom based stock team, buyers and studio production to ensure product is receipted on time and in full.
  • Working with the Creative Content Assistant to oversee the call in and return of samples for photoshoots from brand PRs and stock.
  • Along with the Production Co-Ordinator, oversee all supporting photoshoot administration to include the following: organising run through spaces, ordering rails, stock upkeep, packing and unpacking samples, steaming clothes, and assisting the Creative Content Editor on set to ensure samples adequately protected during the shoot.
  • Be responsible for sample maintenance. Implementing diligent process to ensure stock is handled with care during its time with our department and returned in a saleable, timely manner.
  • Assisting on set, providing support to the Head of Content & Creative and Creative Content Editor to ensure the smooth runnings on shoot days.
  • Working closely with Buying, the Social and Creative Content Assistants and Junior Market Editor, acquire pictures for editorial purposes from PRs and brands to ensure an exciting customer journey throughout our platforms.
  • Implement a creative log, tracking image coverage across Harveynichols.com, email and Beyond.
  • Maintain the internal servers used by the Creative Content Team.
  • Assisting the creative content editor to ensure brand coverage is shared external with PRs/commercial teams in a timely manner.
  • Support the Creative Content team collate seasonal trend and brand information to better inform the editorial schedule.
  • Review the production schedule to stay abreast of upcoming projects and contribute to creative meetings with visual ideas.
  • Maintaining an organised sample cupboard, workspace and styling kit.
  • Manage other administrative duties, including booking couriers, downloading file transfers, diary, and meeting management.
  • Contribute to meetings as a representative of the content team, utilising your own initative to understand the creative content strategy and effectivley communicate on behalf of the creative team.

A bit about your experience:

  • Experience within a similar role is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Heaps of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, and work to deadlines.
  • Must have a passion for fashion leading to broad knowledge of the industry.
