Description

The Role
The Create Manger, supported by the Create Directors and wider Global team, will help implement the Creative Solutions strategy for their assigned agencies. They will have, and will cultivate, positive and deep relationships within their agency's Partnership / Creative Solutions divisions, and be responsible for managing and answering the pipeline of incoming agency briefs correctly and in a timely manner, supported by data and insight. Alongside Global Sales Directors, they will also be responsible for proactively seeking out new briefs and pitching proactive ideas based on agency/advertiser insight and requirements. They will have a working knowledge of Hearst brands and it's commercial portfolio and products (display, digital, social, events, accreditation, Made etc.). Passionate about ideas and storytelling, they will be able to translate knowledge of the Hearst portfolio into commercial media proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Agency Revenue Growth
• Working with the Global Strategy Director / Head of Client Partnerships to respond to in-bound RFPs with creativity and out-of-the box thinking in partnership with Hearst content/creative Studio, Digital sales teams/leads, Ad Product & Solutions, Media Planning and Project Management teams.
• Bring content solutions to life in a compelling pitch deck that strongly articulates the reason for and benefit of the proposed strategy.
• Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations.
• Use new and existing research in order to exhibit an understanding of the power of magazine, digital and social marketplace.
• Keep up to date constantly with Hearst Magazine Global's portfolio of brands and ensure a contemporary knowledge of audience delivery that enables client needs to be matched with magazine and digital reach.
• Undertake any other projects as directed by the Head of Global Sales.
Agency Ambassador
• Demonstrate depth and understanding of all Hearst brands and their place within the market.
• Contribute to case studies around outstanding work ensuring positive results are incorporated.
• Promote overall excellence across Hearst through innovation, creativity and effectiveness.
• Exhibit a high degree of professionalism when representing Hearst, in particular through the quality of work produced, presentations made and service
• Provide excellent levels of customer service.
• Cultivate agency relationships to ensure Hearst are front-of-mind across partnership/solutions teams.
• Ensure Agency are updated on all Hearst news and initiatives.
• Be expert on all elements of your Agencies and their client's business and share this knowledge internally where relevant.
Hearst Ambassador
• Liaise with all relevant departments within Hearst when necessary for agency opportunities.
• Work in matrix style with other divisions of the business with clear brand understanding of their category, eg Luxury / Health & Lifestyle / Travel.
Ideal Capabilities:
• Understanding of how to execute cross platform solutions.
• Strong understanding of digital solutions.
• Ability to build compelling creative solution decks answering briefs based on insight and brilliant ideas.
• Confident presenting in-front of senior level clients and agency representatives.
• To work collaboratively with all divisions within hub and across Hearst-wide structure.
• To work closely with content studio to realise ideas.
• Working knowledge of all available research tools, eg, GWI, GA.
• Strong prioritisation and time management skills (manage to multiple deadlines and meeting requests across departments).
