Creativity Works: Festival Makers is a seven-week training and development programme for 25 young Londoners to hear from industry experts on what it takes to put on a festival.
A chance to develop skills, learn something new, network with likeminded creatives and meet with industry experts, the programme will consist of talks, workshops and interactive sessions to help you get a job in the creative industries.
Over seven weeks, the programme will cover topics like festival design, programming, sponsorship, infrastructure, sustainability, accessibility and infrastructure as well as brand marketing and live event management.
Plus, at the end of the programme participants will be able to apply to join the Block9 team at Glastonbury Festival on one of several paid work placement opportunities.
18-24 year old Londoners who are interested in building a career in the creative industries
Curious creatives, passionate about learning and able to build skills independently
Unemployed and not in full-time education
We encourage applications from those who are underrepresented in the industry including disabled, D/deaf and neurodiverse people, LGBTQ+ people, people from black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds. We also welcome applicants from a range of educational backgrounds.
