The A Side: A Day in The Life
Our central CRM team work across all areas of the UK Business and Labels, helping to grow the value of fan data both for our artists and our Universal Music lists.
You’ll get to see how an artist’s fanbase develops from initial signing to high profile releases, as well as learning about how our different marketing tools and technologies fit together.
We’re looking for someone with an interest in CRM, and a passion for music! Our ideal candidate would have experience using a CRM or digital marketing platform, and Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
This role is a fixed term opportunity, starting January/February 2025, ending in August 2025.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Day to day support for our wider teams with use of the CRM platform and marketing tools
Updating artist and fan profiles and details in the CRM platform
Assisting with new store launch processes
Creating and maintaining how-to guides and case studies of CRM campaigning
Assisting with regular and ad hoc reporting on CRM activities
Collating requests and briefing updates to the CRM platform to our developer team
Checking our CRM campaigns for tracking and best practices
Helping to build and send our centrally run mailing lists, inputting on plans for segmentation and content
Sharing examples of creative and innovative CRM campaigning within the CRM team and wider business
Trialing new platforms and developments and sharing feedback on features
Designing new email templates and sign up forms for our artists and brands
Creating re-usable content blocks and designs in our marketing tools for use in our CRM campaigns
Good awareness of CRM campaigning and platforms
Comfortable with learning new systems and technologies
Excellent attention to detail
Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and all other basic functionalities
Self-motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical mind for interpreting data and preparing reports
Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
IT skills: Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
Experience of working in an office environment
Basic HTML skills, particularly with email focus
Track record of working in multi-tasking high pressure environment
Knowledge of digital / audience marketing
Past experience using CRM systems
Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms i.e. Shopify
Experience using link tracking systems such as Linkfire or Smarturl
Basic understanding of GoogleAnalytics
