What the job involves
Join Prostate Cancer UK’s friendly, fast-paced in-house design team and use your creative skills to help bring an end to a disease that kills one man every 45 minutes in the UK.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of disciplines, including print, digital, packaging and merchandise. Under the guidance of the Brand Design Manager you will lead design projects from brief through to delivery – and will collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to produce high quality innovative design.
What we want from you
We are looking for an established designer with a strong level of professional experience and an impressive portfolio. You will be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud design software, in particular, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator – with additional knowledge of Adobe Animate or After Effects is highly desirable.
You will be a good problem-solver with a keen eye for detail – quick on your feet and able to juggle complex projects, as well as being able to communicate confidently and be comfortable presenting your ideas and creative solutions. You’ll also be great at building working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
Why work for us?
We have a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and support, we can make prostate cancer a disease the next generation of men need not fear. Be part of a team that will put an end to prostate cancer being a killer.
The support we’ll provide
Join our team and you’ll be working at an award-winning charity that will help you learn, develop your skills and expertise, and achieve your highest aspirations. We provide everything you’d expect from a professional organisation – competitive benefits package, contributory pension scheme, life insurance and a season ticket loan – but much more besides. Work with us and you’ll see your efforts pay off as we fight for a better future for men.
Closing date:  midnight, 10th November 2019
Interview dates: 20th / 21st / 22nd November 2019
We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
