James Glancy Design are recruiting! This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with a company producing world leading Christmas displays and public art installations. We have been operating for over 30 years and have designed, fabricated, and installed across the globe from London to Hong Kong.

We are looking for someone personable and talented with a keen interest in the creative industries who’s able to work seamlessly from design conception to realisation.
Our ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving, have leadership qualities and a positive attitude. It is essential that the candidate has worked in a design-to-build environment and is organised and proficient.

Key responsibilities:
Design development & guardianship·
Producing CAD visuals and ideas·
Workshop construction and assembly drawings·
Installation guides and plans·
Providing technical support to the team·

Essential Skills & Experience:
Leadership skills and decision making·
Experience in set building/scenic/temporary events·
AutoCAD & Sketchup·

Beneficial Qualifications & Experience:
Practical Rigging experience·
H & S, (Risk Assessments & Method statements)·
