Support in driving digital growth for River Island, maximising sales and conversion through the online channel. This role is responsible for delivering actionable insight articulating findings in an engaging way drawing out key insights and recommendations.

You are gatekeeper for data insight requests coming into the team. Challenging where appropriate to ensure the right questions are being asked, so analytics projects will achieve the right output - being powerful insights, driving meaningful business impact and fact-based decision making
Using data-driven insights to deliver improved online customer engagement through the use of onsite behavioural data
Challenging existing assumptions, solving problems and highlighting trends and opportunities for further business growth and efficiencies.
Identifying pinch points and key areas for optimisation along the online customer journey
Keeping updated with leading market practices to integrate into future roadmap development and inform online strategy
Working closely with the wider Ecommerce team to align insight with A/B testing programme and ensure all insight trialled and actioned effectively
Delivering insight to varied stakeholders of all levels across the business to drive both customer acquisition and engagement strategies.
Designing and maintaining automation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on online customer behaviour
Highly numerate with a high standard of accuracy with data and commercial awareness of its usage
Innate curiosity about consumer behaviour and ability to derive insights from complex data sets to recommend improvements to business
Confident in ability to match different data sets from varying sources in order to deliver insightful recommendations and reports
Real fluency in Excel, plus experience of Adobe analytics & GA360
Comfortable presenting complex information in an easy to understand digestible manner
Evidence of successful delivery of data driven web analysis and recommendations to drive forward digital performance
Strong experience within analytics platform– including setting up filters, segments, goals and dashboards
Experience of tag management solutions such as Google Tag Manager would be advantageous
