The role - Immediate start to 16 April 2021 (maternity cover)
This exciting maternity cover role is required to lead and manage the Ravensbourne digital content team. The role is vital in ensuring that our community of students and staff are regularly informed and engaged with. We require an experienced Manager who will develop and implement content plans across the university’s channels to engage our audiences. You will ensure that our website and intranet are up to date, accessible, appealing and on-brand.
The role requires excellent writing and editing experience, working with style guidelines, problem solving and exceptional organisation and collaboration skills. This role will suit a person that has a successful track record in website management and is not afraid to get stuck in with inputting content into the CMS.
Website management and CMS responsibilities
Working with stakeholders to refine existing content and create new and engage content (videos, images, testimonials)
Content writing and editing with exceptional SEO and keyword experience
Designing content, including user-generated content, to optimise user journeys
Identifying and working with developers on website functionality requirements
Managing three direct reports including a copywriter, videographer and digital content analyst
Strong project management
Line management

Excellent writing for the web
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Highly organised with rigorous attention to detail
Google analytics reporting and conversion tools
Experience of using content management systems (CMS) such as Wordpress, Sharepoint or Drupal
