The Design Team crafts the Attest experience from end-to-end, from front to back, in every channel. From the moment a user encounters a problem to the moment they solve it; from very-user-facing elements like the marketing website to the almost-invisible like how internal services operate; from the magazine delivered through a clients door to the interface that renders survey results. We obsess over what our customers need and doggedly pursue solutions which are useful, usable, and high quality.
As a Designer on the Website Team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional peers and stakeholders to explore and define how we communicate on the web. You'll help us to deliver an experience that's fast, beautiful, and fully leverages the web as a storytelling medium. Alongside the team, you'll create something that is, for many, their first impression of Attest, and will take ownership of designing a journey that educates and excites users to the point that they sign up to the Attest platform.
You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing and Demand Generation—and especially with squads in our Growth pillar - helping to fundamentally change how we attract and bring on new users. You'll also work tightly with your peers in Product and Content Design to develop and share the patterns that create a consistent, coherent experience for all of our users. You'll manage projects end-to-end and will champion both users and the product throughout the process.
You will do things like...
> Work with others to define what success looks like for the Attest marketing site
> Create structure and narrative that educates, delights, and converts to sign-ups
> Design patterns and systems to scale the impact of design across the website
> Explore creative, interactive uses of the web to tell stories about the Attest product
> Work closely with front-end engineers to craft highly performant, polished pages
> Contribute to brand design and define how the Attest brand translates to the web
> Collaborate with product marketing and demand generation to tell the right stories
> Perform user research and usability testing to improve the experience for users
> Measure performance of work you ship and optimise it to perform even better
> Help to define the rest of the nurture flow and design across those touch-points

> Can define and articulate business or user problems in straightforward terms, and explore solutions that contain the right balance of simplicity, flexibility and power.
> Think rigorously about the problems you're solving and the solutions you explore, working from first principles and trying to understand real user needs.
> Have strong user interface and interaction design skills, but have a broad skillset across digital design, including information architecture and visual design.
> Think in systems and are able to translate your work into reusable patterns that can be used across the communication design team to create consistent and coherent work.
> Are skilled in communicating your work, process, and design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders, and regularly seek feedback to improve your work.
> Love working with other designers to help them learn and grow through collaborating, coaching, and mentoring (and to have others help you learn and grow).
> Have a very high bar for design quality, but know when and how to balance priorities and scope to benefit your squad, the design team, and the rest of Attest.
> Are results-driven and know how to use data to both define business problems and to understand if (or to what extent) your solutions address those problems.

> Sanctus - Remote coaching sessions with fully qualified coaches 2 x per month through Sanctus. Sessions are private to you and your coach, and a space for you to use as you see fit. As coaches are usually UK based, we ask all Attesters to be mindful of booking afternoon slots where morning slots are available, to be considerate of our international colleagues who may only be able to make use of slots that fall later in the day.
> 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - all Attesters have access to Employee Assistance Programmes, including accessing confidential telephone counselling 24/7, advice on debt, housing, and beyond.
