We create and produce programmes loved by millions worldwide and now we are looking for a new Executive Digital Producer t o join our collaborative digital team for Entertainment.
What this role will entail... The Digital Content team commissions and produces all output for social media, websites, apps, podcasts and branded content. The Digital Executive Producer is responsible for the team delivering first-class digital content that drives audience and revenue, meets the business KPIs, fulfils commercial targets and enhances the reputation of our entertainment programmes.
Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear and inspiring vision and strategy for ITV's or partners digital output for their genre/channels, ensuring ITV remains at the forefront of creative excellence and innovation.
  • Set and enforce the strategic principles of what genre/programme properties we support, what content we produce and why, working closely with the Head of Digital Content & Strategy and media/analytics team to ensure the measures of success are aligned to the business strategy.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Digital Content & Strategy, and other Digital Executive Producers, develop a test and learn, measurement and innovation programme for entertainment content and continually drive a high performance culture.
  • Lead a team of digital producers, and/or production staff, helping them to develop and pitch the best ideas, and then to deliver them in a cost effective way.
  • Own resourcing and project assignments across the team, ensuring everyone knows what's expected of them and has clarity on the measures of success.
  • Build strong, productive relationships w/ key stakeholders across the business, ensuring digital platforms are used in the most effective way to engage audiences and that stakeholders understanding the value of digital content.
  • Work with commercial leaders to ensure digital products provide value for sponsors and advertisers and to meet commercial targets while considering editorial needs.
The ideal candidate:
  • Experience of leading a digital production team is essential
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms is essential
  • Experience of managing budgets and timelines is essential, preferably for digital and video productions
  • Experience of pitching, presenting and also writing creative briefs is desirable
  • Experience of working for a TV show in an online capacity is desirable
  • Experience of managing content-led digital products in a commercial environment is desirable
