If so, Nesta is looking for a Digital Manager to join us and support a team covering the whole digital communications mix, including project managing the production of new digital platforms, leading communications for individual projects, and advising and training others on effective digital engagement.

About this exciting opportunity
You will be expected to fulfil a broad range of duties, with a focus on project managing the development of Nesta’s digital platforms, including campaign websites, digital tools and data visualisations, and overseeing and managing the team’s workflow, ensuring all content is successfully published and featured on the relevant channels to a consistently high standard. You will also:
· Deputise for Head of Digital, offering guidance to other members of the digital team and content creators
· Lead the digital team’s training programme
· Work alongside the media and events units within Nesta’s communications team to design, deliver and evaluate digital marketing activity for Nesta’s programmes, events, campaigns and partnerships
· Engage with, and influence, Nesta staff to commission and produce regular online content
· Write, edit and quality check content for Nesta’s website, newsletters and social media channels
· Help to produce a range of complementary digital content
You will have a proven track record working in a similar role, either as part of an in-house team or at a digital agency and have extensive experience of commissioning and delivering digital platforms. An outstanding communicator, with strong editorial and technical skills, you must have a good understanding of writing for digital channels and of best practice in digital content creation around usability and accessibility.
You will also have impressive interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, and have extensive experience of sourcing and building relationships with digital agencies and advising and influencing internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to digital communications. A collaborative, flexible and proactive approach to your work is also vital.
