The Digital Marketing Controller will play a critical role in helping drive growth and customer marketing objectives. You’ll think audience-first, to drive relevance and desired outcomes through the use of first and third-party data and create cohesive multi-channel strategies across Search (PPC & SEO), Display, Social and Affiliates.
Leveraging in-house marketing technology capabilities, external agencies (media and creative) and third-party vendors, you will be responsible for driving best-in-class execution and optimisation. Ultimately, you will be ensuring we achieve excellence across all digital channels as well bringing leadership and technical expertise to deliver the right results across the team and the wider business.
What you’ll do:
  • Develop NOW TV’s digital performance strategy and quarterly plans, and manage budgets across all channels, leveraging synergies across channels and audiences to maximise outcomes 
  • Measure and report performance of all channels across agreed KPIs and make recommendations in-line with business objectives and priorities
  • Ensure we work alongside trading and business objectives to deliver the lowest possible CPA and cost-to-retain KPIs
  • Help define the strategic vision and roadmap for digital marketing
  • Oversee test and learn plans and push for innovation across all areas of our activity, to deliver on customer growth and value goals
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and departments (e.g. Brand and Media) to ensure collective and cohesive campaign execution
What you’ll bring:
  • You must be highly data literate, a digital marketing expert with a deep understanding of how messaging, channels and audiences come together to deliver performance.
  • You are educated to degree level and have gained experience ideally within an agency, client-side or media owner environment, with knowledge of online or retail business
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and are confident presenting to senior stakeholders
  • You have previous experience at a similar level; managing a sizeable team
  • You are highly numerate and analytical, with a deep understanding of data – with the ability to draw out insights to drive strategic direction
  • You should be a self-starter with a can-do attitude. You should be results driven, take ownership of your work and refuse to settle for 2nd best. To be successful in this role you must be a proven communicator and possess excellent commercial acumen.
