The Digital Fairy is a creative agency and youth marketing powerhouse at the heart of social media and youth culture. Our female-first team creates marketing campaigns and activations for brands including Nike, Adidas, Shrimps, Ariana Grande, Sephora, Depop, Ganni, Hello Kitty and Bleach London.

We’re searching for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Fairy Networks (digital) team to work on innovative communication strategies and campaigns. You will have a burning passion to drive results and be fully focused on performance, analytics and learnings. You will report in to our Digital Marketing Manager and work alongside our Influencer Marketing Manager, and Paid Media Campaigns Manager.

Our ideal candidate:
  • You will ideally have agency experience, but this is not essential
  • You will have mid-weight experience, 3-5 years in a similar role (see below)
  • You’re an ambitious marketeer, organised, capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal. You’re detail orientated and the type of person to point out typos!
  • You have a nuanced understanding of Gen Z/youth culture, digital trends, social media, and the related internet landscape: brands, fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle
  • You have an understanding of all key platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Google inc. Youtube, Shopify - you understand platform specs and what works and what doesn’t on each
  • You have knowledge across all areas of digital marketing: social, paid media, e-commerce, integrated planning, content marketing, CRM
  • You are passionate about using data and performance to improve creative output and return for clients. On the cutting edge of content creation trends, you know what are the latest face filters trends, updates to formats, how to make tweets go viral or what an optimised Youtube video title looks like etc
  • You maintain an active interest in the daily monitoring of social, cultural and platform trends
  • You are confident pulling together holistic plans and reporting on influencer and social campaigns
  • You are comfortable being client facing, with strong communication skills to handle day-to-day comms, taking a role in pitching or leading reports
  • You can carry out basic media/set-up tasks eg. boosting posts or setting up paid partnerships, but can also brief in freelancers on larger scale campaigns or technical tasks

Your Responsibilities:
  • Reporting into our Digital Marketing Manager, you will attend daily status meetings and monthly development 1-2-1s
  • Planning, developing, implementing digital marketing strategies, monitoring and meeting KPIs and business objectives
  • Pushing innovative amplification methods from organic social, paid social, search, display, SEO, affiliate, e-mail and influencer campaigns
  • Carrying out best-practices across all social media and marketing platforms from Twitter to Mail Chimp
  • Conducting desk research, audits and market/competitor analysis for campaigns and pitches
  • Writing engaging and innovative copy across all platforms
  • Building digital partnerships with platforms, key influencers or casting communities
  • Negotiating, reporting and analysis of data
  • Briefing & managing internal and external team members to fulfil your digital marketing plans
  • Overseeing The Digital Fairy social media accounts with our Culture writer/editor and our Digital Marketing Manager
  • Contributing to company-wide meetings, ideas sessions and catch-ups
  • Managing and motivating future junior/intern roles within the Fairy Networks department
