The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a clear digital marketing strategy for Comic Relief and Red Nose Day that support Fundraising and communications objectives.
Key responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Marketing Lead to develop an ‘always on’ digital marketing strategy for Comic Relief and Red Nose Day campaign across SEO/SEM, website, social, email, content, display and PPC
  • Unify separate digital marketing strategies to ensure everything is working together effectively and sets and meets objectives.
  • Manage the performance of agencies supporting with digital marketing activities to ensure they return a positive ROI
  • Measure, report and optimise the performance of all digital channels, providing insight to inform future strategy
  • Together with the Marketing Lead, work with internal teams with a business partner approach to develop and deliver their individual digital marketing strategies ensuring they return a positive ROI and align with the wider marketing, communications and brand strategies
  • Primary point of contact with BBC Marketing to align digital marketing strategies, including development of web pages, supplying content and tracking
  • Responsible for optimising the entire digital user journey using data to make informed decisions
  • Have oversight of all owned audiences and the digital communications they receive, ensuring no overlap between our audience segments
  • Develop and monitor digital marketing budgets
  • Work with the Website Content Producer, Mid-weight Interaction Designer and Data Analytics Manager to ensure the CR website is aligned with digital marketing journeys and performs effectively
Essential Education and Competencies:
  • Experience of delivering marketing activity or projects for a high-profile brand
  • Experience of optimising digital user journeys
  • Experience of working within a matrix of channel experts and multi-disciplined stakeholders
  • Worked effectively with creative studios and channel experts
  • Experience of marketing planning and tracking.
