Purpose of the role The Digital Media Manager will be primarily responsible for the management of all Global paid media. You will have a keen interest in keeping the business abreast of emerging technologies and developments in the digital industry and sharing that knowledge and information with the rest of the performance marketing team in the global and regional offices. In this role you will drive the marketing department's commercial performance through systematic campaign-specific results and overall measurement. You will work closely with all the marketing teams in target-setting as well as post-campaign evaluations.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to -
  • Manage Paid Search agency to drive efficient SEM results and hit set targets
  • Own the Global Paid Media Strategy as well as ability to manage/optimise Paid Search, Paid Shopping and Paid Social channels
  • Optimise targeting and segmentation through analysis in order to deliver reports to the broader marketing team and the business on the performance of marketing campaigns and programs as well as conducting forecasting and estimations on the profitability of those campaigns
  • Reach as many relevant customers as possible by building scalable multi-touch programs. In doing this, they will employ the use of online ads such as Adwords and Facebook Business Manager
  • Play a leading role in the management of digital projects including online planning and insight, content production such as videos and online advertising
  • Manage high quality acquisition programs, campaigns, and activities across the business's online platforms
  • Work with internal creative and project managers, Ecommerce, Public Relations and Social media departments in an effort to gain a clear customer focused communication
  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce, IT and operations departments in an effort to optimize programs, campaigns, and landing pages, based on the real-time performance and the ROI
  • Allocation of budgets across multiple paid social channels ,YouTube and Instagram in order to generate cost effective user actions
Who we are looking for -
  • A minimum of 5 years in Paid Search (Paid Search, and Paid Shopping is a must) and Paid Social (Facebook/Instagram/YouTube) internal and/or agency
  • Experience in PPC, GMC/Feed Management, Paid Social and display
  • Strong experience in e-commerce/retail vertical as well as understanding of 'premium/luxury' environments
  • A customer driven attitude with commercial focus is key, as is an understanding of digital technologies, trends, policies and digital best practice
  • You will be a self-starter, prepared to use your own initiative in leading and managing projects to effectively deliver, with the ability to engage and inspire colleagues at all levels
  • Experience in delivering campaign landing destinations, previous experience of working with digital teams, agency and in-house side is desirable
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using an online analytics tool desirable
  • Creative thinker with great attention to detail and good creative judgement.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Awareness of the digital landscape and excited by developments in digital - always checking out the latest advancement and the next new thing
