A Hybrid working model
Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. Department Summary
Our global digital production teams at Hogarth are made up of over 600+ digital specialists in over 20 countries. We have digital strategy and consulting expertise, as well as full-lifecycle digital production expertise, across best-in-class platforms and solutions. Our digital production types of work covers campaign production, DCO, email production and marketing, web and platforms development, large-scale content operations and Web 3 and Metaverse production as well.
What does a Digital Programme Manager do at Hogarth?
An experienced and proactive individual who will be responsible for leading multiple production & technology workstreams for our global client. They will be working with MarTech Solution Architects and SMEs across WPP and Hogarth, globally. The Programme Manager has day-to-day liaison with our client-facing Programme and Project Management teams to ensure that work is delivered to a high standard, work is planned in and resource requirements are dealt with in a timely fashion.
They will also plan resources and delivery across projects within the programme, and work closely with the GDC network and the PMs for delivery.
  • Single point of contact for programme delivery for all programme operations, providing guidance to cross-functional teams and keeping team members focused on delivering against KPIs.
  • Line management of PM and SPMs delivering within the programme.
  • Ensuring requirements are comprehensively gathered, gaps are resolved and estimates are provided by the team with effective caveats and assumptions around timelines.
  • Oversees Digital Project Managers of varying experience levels who are delivering individual projects. Ensuring that work is correctly planned, co-ordinated and remains on track for delivery as per committed timelines.
  • Providing the teams with guidance and resolving day-to-day challenges to ensure that the programme objectives are met.
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of delivery models, understanding of project/programme management principles, methods and techniques. You are the SME for delivery.
  • Overseeing the production pipeline, monitoring team availability and utilisation, and ensuring that efficiencies are maintained and risks are mitigated.
  • Responsible for the review of all documentation generated by the Project Management team within the account, including Statements of Work and Change Requests.
  • Ensures best practice project reporting is in place across the programme.
  • Swift and concise responses to the internal team’s concerns, ensuring that issues are resolved.
  • Embedding and sharing best practice and ensuring there is continuous improvement, enhancing processes, workflows, documentation, tools and efficiencies to ensure team success.
  • Working in collaboration with the QA team to ensure that project delivery meets the quality levels defined by best practice and client expectations.
  • Coaches the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillsets, domain knowledge and effective communication, both internally and externally within the team.
  • Training and onboarding new team members. Identifying training requirements and organising training sessions.
  • Managing and optimising internal workflows to ensure and increase productivity.
  • Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Attending internal meetings as a representative of the delivery team as and when required, and representing Hogarth to the client and other third party partners.
  • Inspiring leadership, managing matrix reporting, rallying teams and sharing experience in driving change and governance through cross-functional teams.
  • Is the senior delivery contact for the internal team, including escalations.
  • Understanding and strong delivery track record of implementing projects within data, technology and production workstreams. You are able to define programme vision / roadmap against defined stages and are able to proactively report progress and risks and mitigation strategies.
  • An ability to interrogate briefs and train the team to do so ensuring that all information is in place prior to work being started.
  • Experience providing smooth delivery of programmes of work across web and app development on CMS platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience of profitable execution of production through your programme teams.
  • Understanding and experience of implementation of agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps)
  • Strong team management experience through mentorship.
  • Extensive project management experience under your belt.
